Sanctions given for arrest of 52 generals from 102 servicemen in Turkey

The court gave sanctions to the arrest pf 102 servicemen which names were in the criminal case on 196 people. Former commander of Military Air Forces, retired general Ibrahim Firtinna, ex-commander of Navy, retired admiral Ozden Ornak, former commander of first army, retired general Chetin Doghan are among those people. These persons have been detained before, but had been released by the court decision within investigation period.
In general, 52 from 102 persons are generals. 26 of them are retired, other 26 are serving currently in the army. First court on the case will be held on December 16.
Note that, the mentioned persons are charged of coup d’etat of the government in Turkey.
