PACE urges Switzerland to eliminate total ban on construction of minarets, calls this decision as discrimination

Baku. Lachin Sultanova - APA. â€œBurgas, nigabs and other religious clothing can not be banned completelyâ€, it was noted in the resolution passed at PACE session, APA reports.

Moreover, the document reads that some legal restriction may be used for ensuring the security.

In most cases, burgas are taken as man enslaves woman: â€œBut at the same time, burga ban does not make opportunity for women who wants to wear hijab voluntarilyâ€.

Parliamentarians also added that no woman can be obliged to wear religious clothing by her society and family: â€œEach exploitation, arrest and coercion act is a crime and must be punished by law. European governments must explain to Moslem women, their families and communities their own rights, agitate their participation in social and professional lifeâ€.

PACE Denmark Deputy Mogenza Jensen accepted the ecture on â€œIslam, Islamism and Islamfobiaâ€ and urged Switzerland to eliminate total ban on construction of minarets soon, called this decision as discrimination.
