Baku. Lachin Sultanova – APA. Bulgarian new government withdrew its participation in two energy projects, Belene Nuclear Power Station and South Stream gas pipeline, carried out jointly with Russia, APA report quoting the Russian newspapers. Leader of GERB party, which won majority in the parliament elections on July 5, Boyko Borisov said in his letter to minister of economy Pyotr Dimitrov that he would review all large energy projects Bulgaria joined while taking the office of prime minister. He said the party leadership was receiving alarm that the state-run companies didn’t protect the national interests of Bulgaria. “Therefore the ministry of economy should ban new leasing and credit contracts and cancel negotiations on the international projects like Belene and South Stream”.
