Baku – APA. China was dissatisfied with the Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s statement that Turkey could grant a visa to Rebia Kadeer, World Uighur Congress leader, who lives in the United States. Chinese charge d’affaires in Ankara Xiao Yunzeng told Milliyyet newspaper that they are against the Kadeer’s visit to Turkey. He said Kadeer supported separatism in China.

The diplomat said he was surprised with Turkish minister of industry and trade Nihat Ergun’s call for boycotting the Chinese goods.

Deputy chair of the World Uighur Congress, citizen of Turkey Seyid Tumturk said he delivered Prime Minister Erdogan’s instruction to the embassy of Turkey in Washington. “If Rebia Kadeer applies to Turkish embassy for visa, it will be granted to her”.

Kadeer’s visa applications to visit Turkey in 2006 and 2007 were denied.
