A ministry spokesman told the Anadolu Agency, APA reports quoting Turkish news agencies.
The Chinese diplomat was called to the ministry headquarters to provide detailed information on the developments, meeting with Turkish Ambassador Unal Cevikoz, the spokesman said.
"Turkey’s concerns and sensitivities have been conveyed to the charge d’affairs," Burak Ozugergin said.
Hundreds of Uighurs took to the streets again earlier today as protestors, mostly women, staged demonstrations to protest Chinese police who arrested more than 1,400 people for taking part in protests.
Witnesses said fresh clashes were erupted between protestors and police.
The riots that killed scores followed Sunday’s peaceful demonstrations protesting Chinese government’s handling of a fight between Uighur and Han Chinese workers at a toy factory late June. Two Uighur workers had been killed in the strife.
