Turkey to apply tax concessions to TANAP

Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu – APA-Economics. Turkey will apply tax concessions to Trans-Anadolu gas pipeline project (TANAP).

APA-Economics reports quoting neftegaz.ru that discussions are held to apply to TANAP project the tax concessions imposed on oil and gas transportation in this country.

Moreover, exemption from value added tax of the construction materials purchased for oil companies will also be discussed.

TANAP project envisages delivery of the natural gas produced in Shahdeniz field in Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea to Turkey and through Turkey to Europe. The planned capacity of the pipeline will be 16 billion cubic metres of natural gas per year at initial stage. 6 billion cu m will be sold to Turkey, the rest to Europe.
