Baku - APA-Economics. First stage of development in Azerbaijan is based on the oil extracted from Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli fields block, Managing Director of Total Azerbaijan Denis Lemarchal said.
According to him, Azerbaijan’s focusing on gas is very important in terms of national strategy: “Implementation of the Southern Gas Corridor is politically and technically important. This is a factor influencing country’s development”.
He says Total intends to actively participate in oil and gas projects implemented by Azerbaijan.
