State Commission established for implementation of projects on transportation of Azeri gas to world market

APA-Economics reports that according to the order, with the view of ensuring the operation of Southern Gas Corridor for transportation of Azerbaijani gas to the world market, State Commission has been established for full exploitation of Shahdeniz gas-condensate field, extension of South Caucasus Pipeline and implementation of TANAP (Trans-Anatolian Gas Pipeline) and TAP (Trans-Adriatic Pipeline). The Commission consists of:

Chairman of the Commission

Yagub Eyyubov – First Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Republic

Members of the Commission

Ali Asadov - Assistant of the President, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration

Natig Aliyev – Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan Republic

Shahin Mustafayev – Minister of Economy and Industry of Azerbaijan Republic

Samir Sharifov – Minister of Finance of Azerbaijan Republic

Huseyngulu Bagirov – Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan Republic

Rovnag Abdullayev – President of State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic

Shahmar Huseynov – Executive Director of State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan Republic

The State Commission ensures coordination of the activities with the project participants, solution of the issues by the relevant bodies determined by the Commission, prepares proposals and submits to the President of Azerbaijan Republic, regularly informs President of Azerbaijan Republic about the ongoing activities.
