SOCAR increases oil production 1%

Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu – APA-Economics. In May 2015, State Oil Company of Azerbaijan produced 706,500 tonnes of oil, up 1.3% from previous year, 3.2% compared to April 2015.

SOCAR produced 712,300 tonnes of oil in January, 641,900 tonnes in February, 717,200 tonnes in March and 684,200 tonnes in April.

In January-May total of 3,462,100 tonnes of oil were produced, down 1.4% by contrast to 2014.

In May 3,426,300 tonnes of oil were produced across the country, down 7.6% in annual comparison, 3.5% compared to April.

Oil production across the country made 3,667,600 tonnes in January, 3,293,000 tonnes in February and 3,722,100 tonnes in March and 3,549,300 tonnes in April.

In January-May totally 17,658,300 tonnes of oil were produced in the country, 1.2% lower than 2014.
