Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. OPEC member states produced 29.64 million barrels of oil per day in November. This is the lowest indicator since May, 2011.
APA-Economics reports that experts attribute it to the strikes in Libya's industrial sector and reduction of oil production in Saudi Arabia.
Oil production in non-OPEC member states is increasing. Production of shale gas is also increasing in the US. Therefore, drop in the production of oil in OPEC member states does not seriously affect oil prices worldwide.
