Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu - APA-Economics. 2015’s outcomes and works carried out during this period will be discussed at the second meeting of Advisory Council of Southern Gas Corridor, said the Azerbaijani Energy Minister Natig Aliyev.
“The problem in the realization of the project is not related to technical, financial and environmental issues. There are some issues in the realization of the project that governments should intervene in here and pass certain decision. Taking all of these into account, an idea of holding of Advisory Council with the participation of the Energy Ministers was advanced”, the Minister said.
The Minister also noted that steps to be taken for realization of the project have been determined at the first meeting: “The main point is that we defined plans and issues regarding construction of the Southern Gas Corridor. That’s we defined shortages, problems, obstacles for TAP. Fortunately, there is no delay in the project”, he said.
The Minister also noted that accurate date of the second meeting is unknown.
