Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu - APA-Economics. It's possible for Azerbaijan not to fulfill the obligation on transportation of 6,000 tonnes of AI-92 gasoline to Kazakhstan”, Deputy Director General for Marketing at the Kazakh company KazMunaiGas Processing and Marketing Yerlan Koybagarov told Russia’s Interfax agency.

He says according to the terms of contracts signed with Azerbaijani side, the transportation of this fuel should be carried out by November 10: “We’ll wait until November 10. If these obligations are not fulfilled, sanctions will be imposed on the transporting company in accordance with the terms of the contract”, Koybagarov said.

He reminded that the contract was signed on October 10. So, Kazakh Company even paid in advance to import 3,000 tonnes of AI-92 gasoline.

KazMunaiGas did not want to name the company.

Kazakh Embassy in Azerbaijan also issued such a statement.

Head of press service of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Nizamaddin Guliyev told APA-Economics that the SOCAR and KazMunaiGas have not signed such agreement.

A while ago, SOCAR stated that it does not plan to export gasoline to Kazakhstan. Its main objective is to meet domestic demand.
