Corresponding member of ANAS: “Azerbaijan will remain as one of the most important energy suppliers of the world by 2050”

Baku. Aynur Aliyeva – APA-Economics. “Azerbaijan will remain as one of the most important energy suppliers of the world by 2050. The oil price will double by 2030”, said the corresponding member of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, Professor Elmira Ramazanova at the Caspian Oil and Gas Week – 2013 conference in Baku.

According to her, the main problem of Azerbaijan is treatment of oil and gas contaminated areas: “Our Institute has conducted a lot of relevant researches. Nano-technologies should be used in the oil industry. Azerbaijan’s climate is very favorable for the use of nano-technologies”.
