Baku. Aynur Aliyeva – APA-Economics. International Caspian: Technologies for the Environment Exhibition, CTE 2013, which is dedicated to the field of environmental protection, will be held from 20 to 22 November and will bring together companies from Azerbaijan, Germany, Italy, Spain, Kazakhstan, Turkey, the UAE and Russia. The exhibition is supported by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan, which will participate in the exhibition with its own stand.
The Ministry of the Environment of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic will also participate in the exhibition. Much attention is paid to CTE by government agencies – Temiz Sheher OJSC, Azersu JSC, the State Agency for Alternative and Renewable Energy Sources, the Azerbaijan State Caspian Shipping Company, the State Aerogeodesic Enterprise, the Baku Cartographic Factory, the State Land Cadastre and Monitoring Science Production Center and the State Land Surveying Institute will be proactively participating in the exhibition.
The exhibition will showcase the latest developments in the efficient use of natural and renewable resources, including wind, water and soil, and will demonstrate state-of-the-art equipment for producing alternative energy. Leading oil companies will deliver presentations on their environmental projects which aim to eliminate the consequences of long-term oil and gas development in Azerbaijan. SOCAR, BP, Saipem and others will participate in the exhibition. The companies expected to make their debut at this year's show will bring to Baku new technologies for decontamination of soil and water and for toxic waste management.
