Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu – APA-Economics. Azerbaijan will start construction of six compressed natural gas stations from next year, President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Rovnag Abdullayev told journalists.
According to him, the government gave relevant tasks to the SOCAR for construction of these stations: “Azerigaz and a number of companies have already started construction of project of CNG stations. The CNG will firstly be used in the buses to be brought to Azerbaijan in the first half of 2015”.
The stations will be located in Baku and around of the capital.
He says number of stations will increase year after year: “These stations will be located in each 180 km of Azerbaijan. I think, this will be useful in terms of economy and ecology. We saw its positive result in Georgia”.
