Azerbaijan to manufacture showcase refrigerators and electric ovens

Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu – APA-Economics. Soon, a plant manufacturing greenhouse structures, greenhouse and heating equipment and food processing equipment will be opened in Azerbaijan. The construction of the plant is already nearing the end.

Director of this plant Nadir Hasanov said that the enterprise is being constructed at the cost of preferential loan allocated by the National Entrepreneurship Support Fund.

“The plant is already employs 40 persons. After the opening, about 300 people will work here. In future, production capacity is planned to increase by 10 times”, he noted.

Hasanov also added that the plant would manufacture showcase refrigerators and electric ovens: “Up to this day, such products were imported to Azerbaijan. From now on, the country will produce these products itself. And it will reduce the price of cooling and greenhouse equipment, household electric furnace”.

“Total cost of the plant is expected at AZN 10 mln. Nearly AZN 3.7 mln have been spent to construction of the plant. The plant is planned to open by the end of this year”, he said.
