Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu – APA-Economics. In January-September, 2014, Azerbaijan transported 34.8 mln tonnes of oil via main pipelines, up 7.2% in annual comparison.
According to State Statistical Committee, ¾ of transportation was carried out by Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline.
In January-September, this pipeline transported 26.3 mln tone of oil. Moreover, 4.0 mln tonnes of Turkmen oil was transported via this pipeline.
Main gas pipelines transported 16.0 bcm of gas during the same period, up 9.6% in comparison to a year earlier. Of this, 29.2% (4.7 bcm) was transported via Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum pipeline.
