Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu - APA-Economics. Eurasian Cement Forum has kicked off in Baku by the joint organization of Azpromo and Russian BusinessCem.
Over 70 cement producers from 14 countries are expected to take part in the event.
Deputy economic development minister Niyazi Safarov said that GDP grew by 3.4 times in Azerbaijan over the past 10 years.
“Production of construction materials raised 2.5 times, as well as cement production climbed 2.3 times. Share of non-state sector in this sphere climbed to 94%. Today’s forum will be important in development of relations between cement producers and pension of partnership ties”, Safarov noted.
President of Kazakh Industry and Construction Materials Association Maral Tompiev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian National Constructors Association Anatoly Sedov, the committee chairman of the Union of Russian Cement Producers Vyacheslav Boltenko, deputy chairman Akkord Industry-Construction Investment Corporation Suat Calbiyik and other officials made speeches at the forum.
Eurasian Cement Forum also accompanies XXIV International Conference and Exhibition.
