Baku. Agshin Rafiqoglu – APA-Economics. In the first hal of 2015, Azerbaijan’s main pipelines transported 23.4 mln tons of oil.
The State Statistics Committee told APA-Economics that 77.9% of the transportation was carried out via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil export pipelines and this pipeline transported 17.9 mln tons of oil in January-July this year.
During the reporting period, 3.3 mln tonnes of Turkmen oil brought to the country by ships were transported via the BTC pipeline from the Sangachal terminal.
Over the first half of 2015, the country’s main pipelines transported 11.4 bln cubic meters of gas. 31.8% (3.6 bln cubic meters) of the transported gas was realized via the Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum—South Caucasus Pipeline.
