Sofia hosts a symposium Caspian and Black Sea Security

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov â€“ APA-Economics. Bulgariaâ€™s Ministry of Defense has hosted the fourth symposium on Security Issues in the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea, Radio Bulgaria reported.

The forum is co-chaired by Major General Plamen Studenkov, Director of the Military Information Service, and Lieut. General Ronald Burgess, Director of the US Military Intelligence Agency.

The event is joined by the chiefs of the military intelligence bodies of NATO, EU, the US Military Intelligence Agency, the US European Command, the commands of countries of the regions of the Black and Caspian seas like Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Greece, Moldova, Romania, Tajikistan, Turkey and Ukraine as well as representatives of Bulgarian ministries and departments as well as Bulgarian and foreign scholars.

The forum will discuss aspects of security, possibilities for cooperation between military intelligence structures and strengthening of confidence among them, etc.
