As part of joint production in Azerbaijan, first orders have been received and the assembly of Marauder and Matador (4x4) mine-protected carrier vehicles is under way here in Baku, said Ivor Ichikowitz.
The first batch of armored vehicles will be delivered later this year.
According to him, besides armored personnel carriers, in Azerbaijan it is slated to produce other vehicles, including Maverick – an Internal Security and Public Order Armoured vehicle unveiled at the Africa Aerospace and Defence Exhibition (AAD).
