Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli operating expenditure to increase 30% this year

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. During the first quarter the year Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) spent $175 million in operating expenditure and $243 million in capital expenditure, said BP-Azerbaijan.

“For the full year, we expect to spend $839 million in operating expenditure and $1,639 million in capital expenditure, compared to $645 million and $1,897 million respectively in 2008,” said the company.

ACG participating interests are: BP (operator – 34.1%), Chevron (10.2%), SOCAR (10%), INPEX (10%), StatoilHydro (8.6%), ExxonMobil (8%), TPAO (6.8%), Devon (5.6%), ITOCHU (3.9%), Hess (2.7%).
