Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-Economics. BP-Azerbaijan’s Vice-President of Onshore Operations Rashid Javanshir has been promoted to Executive Vice-President, said BP-Azerbaijan.
Prior to this, Rashid Javanshir was elected a member of the BP Steering Group for Exploration and Production in London.
Rashid Javanshir will continue to serve as BP-Azerbaijan’s Vice-President of Onshore Operations in Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey, BTC Co. Chief Executive Officer, South Caucasus Pipeline General Manager.
He will also be president for production sharing agreement on the Shah Deniz and will supervise Shah Deniz Phase 2 activities.
BP-Azerbaijan employs 1,891 Azerbaijan nationals. Besides, 82% of permanent highly-qualified personnel are Azerbaijani nationals.
