SOCAR increases oil output by 3%

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov – APA-Economics. State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) produced 763 450 tons of oil (including gas condensate) in March, up 3.1% on a year ago.
Of this, 619 010 tons came from by Oil and Gas Extraction Units and 144 400 tons from SOCAR’s joint projects (20 420 tons from operating companies, 109 750 tons from Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli and 14 270 tons from Shah Deniz).
484 800 tons of oil was sent for refining and 248 380 tons were exported.
SOCAR’s oil production (including gas condensate) was 2 196 490 tons in January-March, up 1.3% on the same period last year.
