Baku – APA. Huseyin Capkin, former police chief of Istanbul, has been detained in the Cesme district of Izmir, Turkey as part of the probe into the failed coup attempt made by a small military junta linked to the Gulenist Terror Organization (FETO), Hurriyet newspaper reported.
Along with the former police chief, three more people have been detained as suspects, the newspaper wrote.
Earlier, former Istanbul governor Huseyn Avni Mutlu was detained in connection with the probe.
