Baku. Farid Mirzayev - APA. The observation mission of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States (IPA CIS) observed the start of the referendum on amending Azerbaijan’s Constitution Sept. 26.
The mission began monitoring at the second polling station of the Sabayil constituency #2 in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Ilyas Umakhanov, head of the CIS PA observation mission, said that they have observed the preparations for the voting procedure at the polling station.
There are 1,304 registered voters at the polling station.
The voting in referendum on making amendments to Azerbaijan’s Constitution kicked off at 8:00 am local time on Sept.26.
The voting will wrap up at 7:00 pm.
