Baku. Mubariz Aslanov – APA. Chairman of the Azerbaijani Central Election Commission (CEC) Mazahir Panahov has called on voters and social network users to be active.
During the press conference dedicated to the beginning of the referendum, Panahov urged them to appeal to the CEC in case of any law violation.
“Constituency and precinct election commissions will decently fulfill their duties for holding the referendum at a high level," he said. "All possible and desirable options were used for the voters and observers to see the transparency of the voting process."
The voting in referendum on making amendments to Azerbaijan’s Constitution kicked off at 8:00 am local time on Sept.26.
The voting will wrap up at 7:00 pm.
