Baku. Turbat Baghirova – APA. It is planned to create a new format of trilateral cooperation, which is to include Azerbaijan, Turkey and Kazakhstan, said Turkey’s Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu.

Cavusoglu made the remarks during a joint press conference with his Azerbaijani counterpart Elmar Mammadyarov in Baku July 15.

“The creation of such a format of cooperation has already been discussed with the Kazakh side,” said the FM. “As you know there are formats of trilateral cooperation among regional countries (Turkey-Azerbaijan-Iran, Turkey-Azerbaijan-Turkmenistan, Turkey-Azerbaijan-Georgia, etc.).”

"We also believe an Azerbaijan-Turkey-Russia trilateral format is possible," the minister said, adding that these possibilities were being discussed.

Turkey stands in solidarity with Azerbaijan in the implementation of all regional projects, he added.
