Baku – APA. Sahib Karimli, a member of the Shaki district office of oppositional Azerbaijani Popular Front Party (APFP) and former candidate for party chairmanship, has been expelled from the National Council for opposing protest rallies, APFP deputy chairman Gozal Bayramli told APA on Thursday.
The decision was passed at the last meeting of the National Council’s Coordination Center, said Bayramli, noting that Karimli may also be excluded from APFP.
“The Shaki office has repeatedly expressed dissatisfaction with Karimli’s activities. This issue will be considered either by the Shaki office or by the Presidium,” he added.
