Azerbaijani MP: Western imperialism launches attack Azerbaijan with its entire network

Baku. Ramiz Mikayiloglu – APA. Western imperialism has launched an attack on Azerbaijan with its entire network, Azerbaijani MP, edition-in-chief of New Azerbaijan newspaper Hikmat Babaoghlu told APA.

The US and the West are exporting destabilization and hybrid wars to the Muslim east, he noted.

Babaoghlu said a unipolar hegemony exists in the system of current relations.

“So the ongoing military-political processes serve the interests of one side only. Countries around the opposite polar are either destroyed or forced to forsake their national interests,” he said.

According to him, these military-political projects and hybrid war plans that destroy national states are devised and carried out by the West’s islamophobic and imperialist centers.

“Regrettably, while carrying out these plans, the West is able to get human resources of national states involved in the destruction of their own country. The strategy used to do that is about converting human rights, freedom of faith, etc. into weapons and use them against national states,” the MP added.

According to him, the US and West have for many years formed a special network which serves imperialism under the guise of international and regional organizations as well as human rights organizations.

The main goal of the upcoming referendum is to better ensure the national security and the transition of development to a qualitatively new stage, he added.

“Concerned with this, the Western imperialism has launched an attack on Azerbaijan with its entire network, which includes radical opposition groups, numerous local and international “civil society instructions” and “human rights defenders”. All these are taking place before the eyes of the Azerbaijani people, who are well aware of what is happening. Therefore, the destructive plan of imperialist centers will never succeed in Azerbaijan,” the MP said.
