Baku. Ramiz Mikayiloglu – APA. On October 11, Azerbaijan’s Central Election Commission (CEC) will wrap up the final count of vote at the constitutional referendum held in the country on September 26, 2016.
According to Azerbaijan’s Electoral Code, the CEC is due to complete the final count of vote at the referendum and to officially announce the final results no later than 25 days from the day of voting.
The referendum to make amendments to Azerbaijan’s Constitution was on held Sept. 26. The voter turnout throughout the country stood at 69.7 percent, or 3,671,707 people. The referendum was declared valid.
