Azerbaijan to create new positions at bodies providing exercise of presidential powers

Baku. Mubariz Aslanov – APA. Azerbaijan is set to create new positions at bodies providing exercise of presidential powers.

In this respect, amendments were proposed to the Article 11.1 of the Law “On civil service” during a meeting of the Azerbaijani parliament’s committee on legal police and state building on Thursday.

According to the amendments, positions of heads of other bodies directly providing exercise of the powers of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan are included in the classification of administrative positions in the first part of the Article.

In the second part of the Article, “Deputy heads and department heads” of other bodies directly providing exercise of the powers of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan are also included in the article #11.1.2 along with heads and first deputy heads.

In the 3rd part of the article the list of second grade positions are changed. Thus, the “positions of deputy heads of other bodies directly providing exercise of the powers of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan” are removed and heads of department of bodies are included.

The draft law was recommended to the parliament’s plenary session.
