Baku. Mubariz Aslanov – APA. Azerbaijan may authorize operative-search officers to conduct an inspection without a warrant.
In this regard, amendments are proposed to the Law “On operative-search activity”, the parliament told APA.
According to the draft law, in the case of grounds under specific legislation, operative-search officers can carry out inspections in buildings, including residential buildings, as well as other closed buildings, facilities and land plots without a warrant to detain those who fled prisons and places of detention.
The draft law was recommended to the parliament’s plenary session.
