In this regard, a draft agreement will be tabled at the parliament’s plenary session on March 4.
According to the amendment which is proposed to article #247-4 (failing to include the report of donations in the financial statement) of the Code of Administrative Offences, political parties are fined for not including a report on the amount of donations and persons granting donations in the financial statement submitted to the Central Election Commission of Azerbaijan.
For a failure to deliver reports of donations to the CEC, officials are to be fined AZN 1,500 to 3,000 manats and legal entities – 5,000 to 8,000 manats.
