Azerbaijani citizens highly appreciate President's activities in Great Return and military development -SURVEY

The Social Research Center conducted a public opinion survey among the citizens of the country to study public attitudes towards the activities of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, APA reports.

Within the framework of the survey, several key areas that stood out in the President’s large-scale activity chronicle during the first six months of 2025 and had particular relevance were selected and evaluated based on public opinion.

The survey results showed that the President’s activities are generally highly appreciated. In particular, broad public support was expressed for activities in the areas of the Great Return and reconstruction, foreign policy, military construction, and national security.

69.6% of respondents rated the President’s activities in the field of the Great Return and reconstruction as very good, while 24.6% rated them as generally good. 2.0% of survey participants stated that the activities in this field were generally poor, and 1.5% rated them as very poor. 2.3% found it difficult to express an opinion on the matter.

The results of the study showed that infrastructure projects, restoration and reconstruction measures, the return process, and resettlement activities implemented in the economic regions of Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur play a significant role in shaping public opinion.

69.4% of respondents rated the President’s activities in the field of military construction as very good, while 22.7% assessed them as generally good. 1.6% stated that the activities in this field were generally poor, and 0.7% rated them as very poor. 5.6% had difficulty expressing an opinion on this matter.

58.7% of respondents evaluated the President’s activities in the field of national security as very good, and 29.5% as generally good. 1.3% of survey participants stated that the activities in this area were generally poor, and another 1.3% rated them as very poor. 9.2% found it difficult to express an opinion on this matter.

The overall results suggest that, amid military conflicts occurring in the world and the region, security issues are a priority for the public, and the activities in the modernization of the army and the defense industry are highly appreciated.
