The party’s press service told APA that chairman of International Democrat Union, former Prime Minister of Australia John Howard sent an invitation to ANIP leader. The main topic of discussions will be “Center right parties in 21st centuryâ€, but international and regional issues, democratization processes in the world will also be discussed at the meeting.
Nicolas Sarkozy will receive the participants of the meeting and give reception in Élysée Palace on June 25.
Azerbaijan National Independence Party has been the member of IDU since 1996. IDU brings together 82 center right parties of 63 countries. Etibar Mammadov is deputy chairman of the union.
