Ukraine and Georgia achieve agreement on establishment of joint peacekeeping forces

He noted that consultations on structure of the contingent and its further activities were being continued.
â€œI hope that other GUAM member countries will join the organization soonâ€, he said. Ivan Androsenko, Ukrainian Defense Ministry Department on International Relations told APA that establishment of the joint military peacekeeping contingent had been discussed during the visit of Yuri Yekhunarov to Baku .
â€œThe issue has been debated and positively accepted in Baku as well. The Minister returns to Kyiv today, the decision will be passed after his arrivalâ€, he said. Androsenko added that GUAM would not conduct special negotiations with Moldova on the establishment of peacekeeping forces.
â€œNo country will be coordinated and decision will be adopted via consensusâ€, he said.
