NATO expert group to visit Azerbaijan

NATO and Azerbaijan experts will review material and technical capabilities of OCC detachment and will evaluate various training programs. Azerbaijani Armed Forces stated about its detachment in the Allied joint Force too within OCC program. Last evaluation training was held by Azerbaijani experts under observation of NATO experts in 2007. Azerbaijani OCC detachmentâ€™s 9 tasks from 15 were evaluated with 5 points. Other three tasks were implemented partly for determined reasons. Totally Azerbaijani OCC detachment took 4+ points.
OCC considers participation of partner countries in the establishment and development of NATO quick operational forces. Azerbaijan joined this document later 2004. Azerbaijan OCC detachment looks forward for participation in allied quick operational forces. NATO provides Azerbaijani officers with trainings in NATO military schools within the OCC framework. OCC also considers improving material and technical basis of the officers of Azerbaijani Armed Forces.
