AIP appeals to Foreign Ministry on refusal of inauguration of Azerbaijan-Israel Friendship Alley

Baku. Ramil Mammadli –APA. Azerbaijani Islamic Party has appealed to Foreign Ministry on the refusal of inauguration of Azerbaijani-Israel Friendship Alley, Press Service of the Party told APA.
The appeals cover occupation of Shusha by Armenians on May 8, 1992. Moreover, the appeal envisages insincere position of Israeli Government against Azerbaijan and all Islamic worlds.
“Israel has pursued aggressive policy against Muslims for 60 years”, the appeal records.
“Islamic Party is against friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Israel. Israel has not supported Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity in UN General Assembly and it cannot be our friend”, the appeal says. Party can support protest action of Karabakh Liberation Organization.
Armenian armed forces occupied Shusha on May 8, 1992. 400 civilians were killed, 600 were injured, and over 20.000 people were driven out from their lands. 279 historical monuments and 44 schools were destroyed during the occupation.
