“Freedom House” placed Azerbaijan 168th and Armenia 144th for the freedom of media.
Ahmadov said it was important to know opinion of the country’s citizens. “Different public and international organizations expressed different and contradictory opinions and therefore it is difficult to believe in their thoughts. Placing of Azerbaijan behind Armenia after the post-election developments in Armenia was the next appearance of double standards. Let’s take no notice of such groundless and preconceived reports. This report is far from the principle of justice”. Ali Ahmadov said Armenia had many protectors in the world and preparing this report they tried to save Armenia from disgrace in the face of whole world.
