Ahad Abiyev says his interview with â€œYeni Musavatâ€ newspaper distorted

He said it was another pre-election sabotage and he intended to go to law against the newspaper. â€œThe newspaper must refute it and apologize. I am Azerbaijani and I didnâ€™t say that any Kurd will raise flag in Karabakh. I said Kurd, Lezgin and Talish will fight for their motherland Azerbaijan and they will be among those, who will raise a flagâ€. Abiyev reminded his strong critiques about the opposition leaders. â€œTherefore opposition has committed such sabotage against meâ€.
Rauf Arifoglu, editor-in-chief of â€œYeni Musavatâ€ told APA that Abiyevâ€™s interview had not been distorted. â€œI have listened to the tape. We expected such statement from him and for that I urged the reporter to save the tapes. Ahad Abiyev can go to law. We will submit the tape, there is no problem. The reporter didnâ€™t distort his words. Only offensive words addressed to some people, leaders, which couldnâ€™t be published, have been cut, others are Abiyevâ€™s own thoughtsâ€.
