Students protest the violence against women students

Baku. Ramil Mammadli -APA. On April 22, students of Sahand Technical University of Tebriz held a protest action against the violence committed by the Iranian law-enforcement bodies against the woman students. The students have protested the undue behavior of Iranian security body (ETELAAT) university branch staff against the women students, Sadig Isabayli, Chairman of Information-Research Center of the South Azerbaijan Independence Party told APA. The students have demanded removal of those persons from the office. A group of students went on hunger strike on April 23. They have also demanded university rector and ETELAAT branch chief to apologize. The students refused to receive meal at the University. Some of them faced with health problems and were sent to hospital. They said they insisted to continue protest action until their demands to be accepted.
