Karabakh Liberty Organization makes a statement condemning inauguration of Azerbaijani Israeli Friendship Alley in the day of Shusha’s occupation

Baku. Ramil Mammadli-APA. Karabakh Liberation Organization (KLO) made a statement condemning the inauguration of Azerbaijan-Israel Friendship Ally in Baku on May 8, Organization’s Press Service told APA.
The statement covers that May 8 is a day of Susha’s occupation and it is unacceptable to hold any ceremony on this day.
“The origination estimates holding of any event on this day as disrespect against our martyrs and demands to change the date of the event. Otherwise organization will hold protest action in the alley and will take measures to prevent the eventâ€, the statement records. Armenian armed forces occupied Azerbaijan’s Shusha City on May 8, 1992. 400 civilians were killed and 600 were injured during the occupation and more than 20.000 people were driven out from their lands. 279 historical monuments and 44 schools and other cultural monuments were destroyed.
