Azerbaijani Foreign Minister receives US Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense Daniel Fata

Baku.Lachin Sultanova –APA. Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has received the delegation led by US Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense Daniel Fata, Foreign Ministry’s Press Service told APA.
Mr. Fata noted that he was in Azerbaijan to familiarize with strategic cooperation between the US and Azerbaijan, further strategic wills of Azerbaijan and reforms on defense. The guest estimated the role of Azerbaijan as an energy supplier in the region and noted that Nagorno Karabakh caused threat to the international security. Mammadyarov stated that Azerbaijan was ready for strategic cooperation with the US. The meeting has covered Azerbaijan-NATO cooperation, role in energy security and other issues.
