Polish Deputy Foreign Minister Andrzej Kremer: â€œAzerbaijan is a strategic partner of Poland in the regionâ€

Baku. Lachin Sultanova-APA. Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has met with Polish Deputy Foreign Minister Andrzej Kremer, who is on a visit to Baku. Press-Service of the Foreign Ministry told APA, the Minister reminded about the historic relations between Azerbaijan and Poland and expressed satisfaction with the high level of mutual understanding in the political field and comprehensive plain and urged for the extension of economic potential. He welcomed the Polish principal position in the regulation of Nagorno Karabakh conflict and its support to the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. Andrzej Kremer emphasized the Azerbaijani-Polish strategic partnership in the region, vowed for the extension of relations in all spheres, development of consultations on the basis of the Memorandum of Cooperation signed between the ministries, as well as exchanges between other organizations and invited Minister Mammadyarov to pay an official visit to Warsaw. The guest said his country was ready to share its experience of integration into Euro-Atlantic institutions and to be not only energy partner of Azerbaijan, but to campaign for its geopolitical importance in Europe. They have also discussed possibility of joint discussions over the Polish experience in the Euro-Atlantic integration, enlargement of â€œGUAM friendsâ€ group, dialogue on security issues, mutual investments and cooperation in the cultural and humanitarian fields.
