Contents of updated variant of IPAP implemented by Azerbaijan and NATO made public

APA reports quoting Azerbaijani Foreign Ministryâ€™s Press Service that the document consists of four chapters. The first chapter â€œPolitical and Security Issuesâ€ envisages preparation of documents aiming at strategic planning, such as Foreign policy strategy, Military doctrine, national conception on managing crises and National sea security strategy, discussions with NATO on regional security issues and Azerbaijanâ€™s security policy. The second chapter â€œDefense and Military Issuesâ€ aims at preparing Strategic defense review, improving defense planning in the Armed Forces, material and technical supply, personnel, continuing conformation of military training system and structures of the Armed Forces to NATO standards, complete recruitment of the party involved in peacekeeping operations, involving civil specialists in the Defense Ministry, increasing potential of Navy. The third chapter â€œPublic Awareness, Civil Emergency Planning, Science and Environmentâ€ aims at clearing Saloglu village of Agstafa Region of mines and unexploded ordnances within the framework of NATO Trust Fund project, preparing strategy of public awareness on Euro Atlantic integration issues, holding NATO weeks, improving NATO International School in Azerbaijan and establishing Euro-Atlantic centers. The fourth chapter â€œAdministrative Issues, Information Security, Resources and Legal Issuesâ€ envisages the establishment of safe communication systems that will strengthen information security, development of human resources on various aspects of information security etc.
