Chairman of Azerbaijani CEC: â€œThe organizations intending to conduct exit poll do not need to get our special permissionâ€

Baku. Elnur Mammadli-APA. â€œThe organizations intending to conduct exit polls in the presidential elections will not face problems. These organizations do not need to get our special permissionâ€, Chairman of Central Election Commission (CEC) Mazahir Panahov said, APA reports. He said that Central Election Commission wanted the abovementioned organizations to be registered in the commission. Mazahir Panahov said it was important in order to know which organization conducts poll in Azerbaijan.
â€œWe should know which organization participates in the process. But we do not want to create obstacles on anybodyâ€™s way. The issue of registration does not aim at practicing censorshipâ€, he said.
Mazahir Panahov noted that it was not known which organizations would conduct exit poll, as much time is left till the presidential elections.
