Court decision to pull out Open Society Party and “Baku-Zaman†newspaper from their residing building

Guliyev said he had appealed to the Sabail District Court, which approved his complaint under the chairmanship of Judge Fuad Huseynov month ago. However the newspaper and party leadership didn’t leave the building and addressed the Court of Appeal. Idris Guliyev said Court of Appeal supported the Sabail District Court’s decision. The court let the responsible side leave the building three months later by their request. Idris Guliyev has not clarified reasons led him to break rent contract and to pull out the party and newspaper from the building.
ACP Deputy Chairman of the Open Society Party Yagub Abbasov told APA that he had no information about the issue and refused to speak about that. ACP Chairman Akif Shahbazov has also showed the same position. Adviser to ACP Chairman Zamina Dunyamaliyeva said she had been informed about the issue. “The party has not yet defined where it will move and probably necessary steps will be taken furtherâ€. Zamina Dunyamaliyeva has not reacted to the Idris Guliyev’s decision.
