Mazahir Panahov: â€œThere are 4.834.584 voters in Azerbaijan at presentâ€

Baku. Elnur Mammadli-APA. CEC Chairman Mazahir Panahov held a conference on presentation of the list of voters by election constituencies, APA reports.
Panahov noted that there were 4.834.584 voters in Azerbaijan according to the preliminary calculation. He stated that the lists would be defined by CEC late in May. He added that 48% of voters were men, 52% women and 55,000 of them possessed voting right. 2.20.925 voters are at the ages of 36-35, 1.864.120 are at the ages of 36, 894.56 are at the ages of 55 or more. Panahov added that recompiling of the list was very complicated process and expressed his gratitude to the heads of all state bodies, separate enterprises, organizations helping CEC in this issue. To him, advertisement and hot line were used for the recompiling the lists and it yielded result. Panahov added that the lists would be defined 65 days before the presidential elections.
