Mahmud Mammad-Guliyev receives Vice-Speaker of Estonian Parliament Kristiina Ojuland

Deputy Foreign Minister Mahmud Mammad-Guliyev has received Vice-Speaker of Estonian Parliament Kristiina Ojuland, Foreign Ministry’s Press Service told APA. The sides noted that bilateral relations had developed, economic cooperation extended and mutual visits increased. Mahmud Mammad-Guliyev underlined Estonia’s achievements and economic and democratic reforms and noted that Azerbaijan was interested in mastering Estonia’s experience in integration into the European Union and especially in conforming to its legislation. The Deputy Foreign Minister briefed about the cooperation with the European Union within the framework of Neighborhood Policy and expressed his wish to closely cooperate with Estonia in this field. Ms. Ojuland noted the importance of extending the agreement-legal framework of bilateral relations and signing the investment agreement.
They have also exchanged views on the present state of negotiations on the settlement of Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno Karabakh conflict, energy security, Human Rights and formation of democracy and other issues of mutual interest.
